Anita Burrows
Nita finds the idea of connecting Fine Art and Craft particularly interesting.
Her work is inspired by the natural landscape and the play of light on surfaces at the beginning and end of day when light is very contrasty.
She makes printing plates from wood, lino, aluminium, zinc and card and explores collage and lithographic techniques.
Nita enjoys walking in the pennine hills near to where she lives in Colne where she finds her inspiration through interaction with the natural environment.
Nita runs workshops in various printmaking techniques as well as making paper and books.
