Deborah Lowe

Deborah grew up in a small village in the midlands surrounded by countryside and a network of canals. She has always found the natural world inspiring and for her the joy of exploring it through drawing and painting is endless. She has a Fine Art background and trained in stained glass at Swansea, specialising in kiln fired glass painting. The method of making a stained glass window is still the same as that used by the medieval glaziers and she feels linked to the long line of artists before her that have been fascinated by this vibrant and rewarding medium. Deborah makes stained glass for many settings, churches, public buildings and homes and each piece is a unique combination of light, glass and paint.

She works from her studio on the Yorkshire/Lancashire border and continue to be inspired  by the surrounding countryside, and the canal, that she can see from the windows!
