Julia Smith
Julia Smith creates functional ceramic tableware and decorative homeware. She combines traditional pottery processes with illustration and industrial printing methods and creates little worlds which feature animals, landscapes and stories. She uses red and black earthenware clay with rustic glazes and detailed artwork.
Originally from Glasgow and a student of Glasgow School of Art, Julia now lives in a small village near Inverness by the Moray Firth.
