Kate Brigden
Kate is an artist and potter, working from her garden workshop in rural East Sussex. Kate originally studied painting and has a Masters from Chelsea College of Art and Design. Turning her hand to clay in 2012, when she joined a weekly class at the Star Pottery in Lewes, with Mohamed Hamid. Kate started making pottery professionally in 2014. Her work is mostly made on a pottery wheel, in small batches.
More recently, she has been creating one off pieces such as lamp bases, sculptural pieces and vases.
Kate also teach pottery, so if you would like to have a go yourself, you can learn hand-building and on the wheel. Info can be found on her website.
