Katie Almond
Katie Almond produces unique and one-offporcelain pieces using a variety of slip casting and hand-building techniques. All incorporate her own drawings alongsidefound nostalgic imagery by using both hand painting and transfers, and many have theadded opulence of gold lustre.
Each piece of her work is a canvas for decoration and collage as she carefully combines drawings with found, vintage ephemera. Katie is inspired by nostalgia, paper ephemera, vintage textiles and a love of drawing.
