Layla lives and works in the little seaside town of Southwold on the Suffolk coast, where the wildlife and seasonal changes of the landscape are an endless source of inspiration for her work. Over the last 7 years she has created 6 unique collections and has been lucky enough to have had them stocked all over the world.
All pieces are created by laser etching her illustrations into sustainable birch plywood which she then delicately hand paints, all from her home studio. Layla's work has been described as 'wearable pieces of art', which is a wonderful compliment. Ultimately, her aim is to create stand-out designs that focus on quality and attention to detail that make people smile.
