#215 Garden Fern Collection.
A really stunning mixed media piece created from a segment of a type case / wooden printmakers drawer.
This piece contains a real fern frond, gold painted Spleenwort fronds and paintings set in several layers of resin. (Bearing in mind each layer needs two days to dry, these pieces take quite some time to make :)
The resin creates depth and shadow and protects the delicate ferns.This piece is signed on the back. It can be free standing or hung on the wall with the triangular brass fitting.
Dimensions: 20.8cm wide, 26cm high, 3.8cm deep.
