The Brontë Automata - 'Branwell Brontë' by Lisa Slater.

Charming hand crafted folk art figure laithe turned, carved and hand painted. Housed in an old singer sewing machine drawer. Branwell is painting himself out of the famous portrait of the Brontë siblings, currently housed by the National Portrait Gallery’. The painting reproduction has been printed by Landau House, who specialises in miniature 1:12 scale vintage books.

When turning the handle Branwell’s head moves from side to side, his leg taps and his arm paints.
