Sue Bibby
Taking inspiration from 17th century raised work embroidery techniques, Sue Bibby makes her whimsical free standing birds, using fabric, stitch, wire and found materials. Working from her studio in Birmingham, preparation for each piece begins with observational drawing, before translating into hand stitch and free machine embroidery.
