Wald

Wald is founded by Yorkshire based Jakob Creswell-Rost and Freya Hawtin. They are both trained in 3D design, Fine Art and Graphic design. They offer interesting and affordable homewares, prints and stationery. Their range of products incorporates simple printing techniques from letterpress, to lino print and screen print to digital print, with carefully selected materials. They love to use warm natural toned papers with a textural quality that balance and enhance each other. They also work with Jakob’s mother ‘Ulrike’ on creating lino print and pattern. 

Wald work closely with local producers and all products pass through their studio for printing or compiling before heading out to stockists.

All paper products are printed and finished in England (mainly in their home county of Yorkshire) using either recycled or FSC certified paper. Wherever possible components such as envelopes, cork and even hooks are sourced from manufacturers in either England or Europe.
