HAWORTH AND BRONTË COUNTRY TEA TOWEL - CONTEMPORARY MAP

The tea towel shows the Haworth in West Yorkshire, and the moors surrounding the town. This mill town was the home of the Brontë sisters where they lived in the parsonage. The map shows the moorland walk to the ruined farmhouse of Top Withens, believed to have been the inspiration for the Earnshaw family home in Wuthering Heights, the novel by Emily Brontë. A perfect gift for anyone interested in the writing of Jane, Anne or Emily Brontë and their brother Branwell. It also shows the Pennine Way and the village of Stanbury which has connections to the Brontë family.

The map is a detail of a contemporary Ordnance Survey Explorer map.
