Andy Warhol Egg Cup
Katch Skinner
Hand made, painted and fired by Katch in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire.
Dimensions - Diameter 4.5cm x Height 5.5cm
Designed as egg cups, they can also be used as a salt pots, mini plant holders, jewellery bowls, candle holder and more. Each one takes over a week to create, as it is first slip cast and carved and fettled, before being under-glazed and applied with sgraffito. It is bisque fired for two days in the kiln, then glazed, then finally re-fired – for a truly unique and distinctively handcrafted finish. Please note: The handmade nature of these pieces means that some variation in colour and form is to be expected.
