This little bat has been fashioned from a wire armature. The wings are made of fine woolen felt which is sown to the armature. Two layers of wax are added, then the top layer removed to give a skin like appearance. The body and face is sculpted using core wool and then the fur is blended from marino wools and lovingly hand planted with a single felting needle.
