Stunning needle felted squirrel ‘Sebastian’ mounted on an old Indian mill bobbin.

This red squirrel sculpture is made on a wire armature using British wool. Fingers and toes are individually wrapped then brought together to make realistic paws and hind feet. 12 colours of wool were hand mixed to create 18 blends of colour. Long fibres of wool were individually planted with a single needle to create his gorgeous tail.
